Welcome to Club Z – Vail, Colorado

7 minutes from the best skiing (in not only the U.S. but perhaps the world) is the #1 reason most people visit Vail. But don’t let that stop you from visiting Vail during the summer and fall seasons, for there is an endless array of outdoor activities in which you can participate. Miles of trails, both off-road and paved, await hikers and mountain bikers. Also, climbing and fabulous fly-fishing are just a few steps from Club Z’s entrance.

Put on your waders and take 3 steps off the back deck into some of Gore Creek’s best fly-fishing or cast from the lower deck if you prefer. My neighbor pulled out an 18-inch Cutthroat only 30 feet upstream from his house.

After a vigorous day of summer fun you may wish to nestle yourself in the hammock that is set strategically beneath the 100 foot oaks, right on the bank of Gore Creek. Enjoy reading your favorite book, or just let the sound of running water lull you to sleep!

Not sure how to spend your time? Our library includes plenty of books on all the best biking, hiking and fishing spots in Vail.

Great food, good concerts, fun bars! Vail can’t be beat! From $ to $$$ there’s great dining in Vail. I provide you with a list of my favorite restaurants but don’t forget to cook at Club Z, we even left you our own recipe for Buffalo Chile and killer Jalapeno Cornbread that rivals Vail’s best.

We highly suggest you use the Vail bus; it’s free, runs till 2 a.m. and allows you to avoid the hideous parking structures.
